This Battery Pack takes 2 batteries.You receive two (2) batteries
Instructions for changing batteries:
* Remove AC Cord, Shut down power,Remove front plate open.
* Remove peel off both outside labels from batteries. Reuse lables.
* Remove harness from batteries and replace.
* The picture is a big help if you mess up the wiring.
* Yellow wire to red positive.
* Replace the labels on the batteries and install the new pack.
