New Forming tap. Besly brand. Made in USA. Tap reads Besly USA, X-Press, 5/8-18 UNF-2B B10, L2890. It looks like a plug style tap to me, there is a slight taper on the end. Forming taps displace metal and produce no chips. They are recommended for forming internal threads in soft metals such as ductile steel, copper, brass, aluminum, ect.
