Chip quik removal alloy: easy solder/desolder chipquik

Use to easily desolder or rework surface-mount or multi-pin through-hole components with these easy steps:
1. Apply solder flux to all pins of the component to be removed (Solder flux pens are available in my other listings).
2. Melt and apply this removal alloy to all pins of the component with a soldering iron. The low melting point of this alloy keeps it in a molten state long enough to apply it to all pins.
3. Pull or lift the component off the board. If alloy has solidified, reheat with a soldering iron. Clean up with solder wick and alcohol pads or other electronic cleaner.
That's it! tricky components such as microprocessors or power jacks on laptops and phones are easily removed with this product. Prevents damaging or lifting of delicate pads/contacts on PCBs.
