This transformer allows you to use US appliances in the UK. This unit can be used for appliance with power of up to 300W.
The transformer has a power rating of 300 watts. If you try to run a device which takes more power the transformer will burn out (doing this invalidates the warranty). We do not accept any liability for damage to any equipment through miss-use of this appliance; please ensure that your appliance does not exceed the maximum wattage capacity as detailed in the description..
To determine the correct transformer wattage please contact your device manufacturer. Alternatively if the current and voltage is specified on the appliance, you can calculate it using the formula below.
Power Rating = Voltage (in volts) x Current (in amps)
If in doubt as to suitability email / call us for advice, we shall ask for the voltage, wattage etc. which should be on the rating label at back or underneath of the appliance you wish to power.
Plug your appliance into the transformer.
Then plug the transformer into the mains socket.
Switch on the mains socket (if there is a switch) and then activate the appliance.
For use with non-earthed appliance only.
After use, please turn off the appliance before disengaging the appliance from the socket.
