Sony futaba tl-3508XA jumbotron display tube nixie era
Sony / Futaba TL-3508XA 'Jumbotron' flood beam CRT module, used. This tube was removed from Edward Jones Stadium in St. Louis, Missouri. Although this display has minor damage to the ballistic glass panel, the actual display tube itself is unaffected. This display can be peeled like a hard-boiled egg, revealing the impressive Futaba display tube within.
The TL-3508XA contains eight pixels, each with three different phosphor segments. Each segment has it's own electron gun and control grid. This tube requires an approximately 2000V supply. Do not attempt to touch this device while powered.
Red segments are smaller and placed between blue and green phosphor regions to prevent banding in the displayed image.
