This brand new 8828 portable digital coating thickness gauge / Refinishing Gauge uses magnetic induction and eddy current to measure the coating thickness non-magnetic materials on magnetic materials and non-metallic coatings on non-magnetic metals with built-in probes. It offers high accurate and fast measurement and meets the standards of ISO2178 and ISO2360 as well as DIN, ASTM and BS.
The built-in F probe can measure the thickness of non-magnetic materials (including paint, plastic, porcelain enamel, copper, zinc, aluminum, chrome, etc.) on the magnetic materials (such as iron, nickel, etc.). It is often used for galvanizing layer, lacquer layer, porcelain enamel layer, copper tile, aluminum tile, alloy tile, paper, etc.
The built-in N probe is applied to measure the thickness of non metallic coatings on non magnetic metals, such as anodizing, vanish, paint, enamel, plastic coating, powder on aluminum, brass, non magnetic stainless steel, etc.
