These human figurines are called "butler statutes" decor. This one is the real deal, not a modern reproduction replica. Hand-crafted memorabilia from a Italian restaurant that closed. Charming human figurine of a restaurant chef-waiter with two serving trays (about the size of small salad plates). It is sure to be the perfect piece to add to any collection. It is fully functional and can be used to hold plates, drinks, or patron candies or matchbooks. This wonderful collectible was traditionally made from a resin mold and then hand painted to the highest detail giving it a wonderful glow. The garson even has real spectacles which are completely intact. Perfect as an advertising piece for your bistro or as a conversation starter accessory in your home's kitchen or dining room. It would be a perfect display decoration to set on a cabinet or counter near your bar or restaurant's entranceway, right by the cash register, if you know what I mean.
