The condition of this chuck is very good. The jaws and the sleeve have very little wear. Opening & closing the chuck jaw is smooth with no resistance. There are no cheater tool marks on the body or the neck of the chuck. I used a Jacobs K30 chuck key to adjust the chuck and it fits tightly. The chuck does have Japan stamped on it.
