Minco polyimide heaters are thin, flat, compact, flexible, lightweight high-quality, high-performance electronic heaters, allowing higher temperatures and thermal watt densities. Easy and fast to mount, Minco polyimide heaters should be mounted or clamped to heat sinks or other appropriate flat, smooth, dry, clean surfaces for optimum heat transfers and most uniform heat transfers. While the Minco HK5561 Polyimide Heater has a peel-off self-sticking backing for easy dry mounting, it can also be mounted with thermal bonding or with heat sink paste, or not mounted at all. Thin, flat, lightweight electronic heaters allow you to efficiently apply heat where it s needed to reduce your operating costs as wasted energy is becoming increasingly costly. Minco's etched-foil laminated heating technology provides efficient thermal transfer and cycling for increased throughput, low weight construction, space-savings, and reduced cycling times because Minco's thin, laminated polyimide construction provides uniform thermal performance for the most efficient heat transfers. These Minco Polyimide Thermofoil Heaters are resistant to most oils and chemicals, so these Minco electronic heaters can also be used to heat some non-conductive powders, oils and liquid chemicals (careful experimentation may be required).

EVEN MORE APPLICATIONS: These Minco HK5561 polyimide heaters (and other Minco polyimide heaters) have many other possible uses. We have heard (but not tried) that they are also great for plant growth because they keep soil warm (i.e. "tropical soil"), which spurs plant growth and longer growing seasons in many plants. We also have heard that Minco polymide heaters can be placed inside clothing and powered from a battery or power supply to keep individual people warm in cold situations far more efficiently and cost effective than heating entire rooms or areas. We have also heard of Minco heaters used to help warm small terrariums where small animals, including insects and spiders, are kept (keep out of reach of animals).
