Offered here is one of the Turck 4600620. This is a standard 8 mm
diameter threaded (Metric 8-1 jam nuts) stainless steel bodied sensor
that terminates in a standard PicoFast 3 pin male connector. Connectors for
The units are approximately 50 mm long.
Bringing a steel object within 4.0 mm of the end of the sensor will
light its internal yellow LED driver and activate a PNP transistor
that brings the output pin high. The normal use is as an automation
position sensor for machine arm travel or for sensing the position
of an air or hydraulic cylinder.
