This is an antique advertising trade catalog ("Bulletin number 110 - Heating Controls"), issued by the Absolute Con-Tac-Tor Corporation, Elkhart, IN, 1927.
It includes a 28-page glossy catalog with b&w photos and technical diagrams, full descriptions of items, and prices; and an additional single-sheet price list; they are in a nicely-illustrated heavy-paper binder cover, with the pages bound in with metal pins through binder holes along the inner spine.
The cover art is excellent, very striking, and states "Mercury Switches and Control Instruments". Inside the back cover is information on the distributor - Harrison Sales Co. of Seattle, WA, & Portland, OR; also has their sticker on the back cover.
The first page has a Foreword that says that these switches and controls were developed to automatically control and regulate oil burners for industrial and domestic uses and appliances; "Absolute Con-Tac-Tor instruments are switches. They are not merely secondary instruments operating remote controls, but they are primary controls making and breaking the main line current, direct, as conditions demand".
Products include: Convoswitch, Hydroswitch, Pressureswitch, Vaporswitch, Stackswitch, Aquaswitch, By-pass Gas Valve, Thermoswitch, Bucketswitch, Furnace Switch, and more.
The covers measure 8 by 10.75 inches; stickers inside covers, tanning to top edges, small scarring to lower-right corner and left margin, minor rubbing along spine and to corners, several very small edge tears; title page has some soil from dust; all pages have shallow tanning at edges and light rippling at lower-right corner area. Condition is Good+.
