6+ red & yellow golden pheasant hatching eggs, chickens
I have 2 Red Golden males and 1 Yellow Golden male in with 5 Yellow Hens and 7 Red Golden Hens.
The Red Golden hens are all 2008 hatched birds, and the Yellow Hens are all 2007 Hatched birds. The Yellow male is a 2006 Hatch, and 1 Red Golden male is a 2008 hatch, and the other is a 2007 hatch.
All of my Yellow Hens came from the same breeder in washington, while I picked up the rest of my birds at a Michigan swap meet from various breeders, meaning I got 1 bird from each person I saw there so the rest are unrelated, so your eggs should be unrelated!
I feed my Goldens a daily ration of corn, Sunflowers, and Turkey grower/Starter that comes out to be 21% protein mix. These birds also get lots of fresh green Michigan grass, and cool crisp water daily!
For cover I have a tarp for shade, 3 Pine trees that I scavenge from people after X-mas, a dog house, and raspberry bushes.
