This listing is for a set of 6 diamond grinding blocks for use on Edco, General Tool and stow brand floor grinders. 6 blocks are needed for running a double head machine. These blocks are manufactured with five diamond segments per block for maximum performance and extended life. Our block utilize a floating grinding plate that rest on two heavy duty springs and allows the diamond segments to conform to inconsistencies in the grinding surface. All five premium diamond segments are welded the full length of the mounting plate to prevent the diamond segments from snapping off when they encounter a drain or other tough spots in the grinding surface. Diamond blocks are used to remove surface imperfections in concrete, grind or polish terrazzo, level high spots and removing rough surfaces or marks. These diamond blocks are perfect for removing resins and exposing fresh concrete before staining or reapplying coatings. Diamond blocks grind five times faster than abrasive stones and last up to 30,000 feet.
