This SOLDERING IRON STAND is designed to hold most soldering irons.
The 3/4" diameter opening accommodates almost all soldering iron widths.
The outer ring is coil & there is also a smaller inner metal tube to steady the iron & give extra support.
Take a peek at the photo & you can see the inner tube.
This adds extra protection & sturdiness to the holder.
There is a rectangular indent for sponge placement.
The coil holder easily attaches to the black metal base with a simple bolt & nut (included)
& the base contains a notch to secure the coil from movement.
A small sponge is also included.
