Up for grabs is a Costar 12VDC carbon minoxide detector by Quantum Inc. This item is UL listed to be mounted on a wall or ceiling. Detectors are new and in their original boxes. There are NO returns so please e-mail me with any questions before purchasing. NOTE: These can only be used with a 12VDC security or fire alarm panel. These are NOT battery operated!
If you protect your house with a security system that uses 12 Volts, add this UL 2075 listed carbon monoxide monitor. The Costar 12SIR carbon monoxide alarm can be installed in residences, motels, hotels and other commercial or industrial system applications where 12VDC alarm system control panels are in place.
The 12SIR by Costar is not for RV usage. 12 SIR CO Alarms connect to 4 to 6 wire connections to 12VDC alarm system control panels. UL2075 Listed Household Fire and/or Burglary Panel with Auxiliary Signaling Zones. Connect to Signaling Zones Designated for CO Alarm Use Only. Red LED flashes every 30 seconds indicating the alarm is powered and active.
Flashing red LED light and 85 db alarm pulsing 2 seconds on; 4 seconds off. After 4 minutes, the alarm will once again sound until the unsafe CO Concentration is reduced.
Detector self tests every 10 minutes. Detector will beep and indicator/test button will flash twice every 30 seconds if a fault is detected.
One chirp, then red light flashes 4 to 5 times followed by 2 alarm signals.
