A rare item these days I guess? This superb ceramic bodied panel mounting rotary
switch is a single pole four-way switch with integral ceramic knob. Manufactured in
the U.K. by ARROW INDUSTRIES Ltd., it is rated: 10A @ 250V (or 6A @ 380V a.c.) and is
ideal for r.f. aerial switching up to at least 30MHz. It was originally included in
the design for a heavy current d.c. psu by B.T. for private telephone exchanges
(p.a.b.x.). It is in virtually new condition (I have used the word 'virtually'
because the original brass is not as bright as when first taken into stock!) and in
good working order. The approximate overall dimensions are: 75mm diameter and
requiring 45mm depth behind panel, the knob protrudes 35mm above the panel. These
switches are quite heavy!. The switch comes complete with mounting hardware.
Cable termination is by screw connection. Can anyone make good use of it?
