Basic Installation Guidelines: The module will need to be mounted in an enclosure where there cannot be accidental contact with the exposed high-voltage terminals. This unit does NOT come with the clip-on terminal cover shown in the pdf.
Thermal management is critical. The module relies on convection of cool air through the heatsink for cooling. The unit will need to be mounted in an enclosure with good ventilation for cooling purposes. It is usually good practice to mount solid state switching equipment in a fan cooled enclosure. [I can supply quality equipment fans cheaply if required].
As the Omron Leaflet states: "Must need an air convection for SSR or the heatsink. Less convection air produces a heating on SSR abnormal and causes a short circuit and burning."
