The kit enables the building of either an inverting or non-inverting amp. All parts are provided for BOTH versions. You choose which parts you populate to obtain the amplifier you want.
The "Gain-clone" or "Chip-Amp" is originally inspired by the "Gaincard" Amp, a product that stirred a great following of audiophiles and became famous for its exceptional sound quality -and price tag-, and which used none other than the "Overture" LM3875 Amplifier IC.
High quality FR4 double-sided, plated-thru and tinned holes, with conformal coating, solder mask and silkscreen.
The Printed Circuit Board implements a ground plane, and "star" grounding.
2 individual amplifiers can be paralleled for double the power into 4 Ohm loads
Kit contains PCB, all parts, and 5-page instruction sheet, for ONE CHANNEL of the amplifier.
Heat sink and power supply not included. Requires a dual 30V to 43V DC power supply. PCB is double-sided ground-plane FR4 epoxy, gold plated over nickel.
Film capacitors are Epcos blue-cap, all resistors are low-noise metal film.
