This PCB builds a scaleable supply for maximum voltages of +/-100V and max current 20 A.
- High quality FR4 double-sided, plated-thru holes, with conformal coating solder mask and black legend.
- Gold-plated on nickel substrate.
- RC snubber to prevent high frequency oscillation
- uses Fast TO220 3-pin Schottky Rectifiers, for lowest voltage drop: 0.2V
- Inrush Current Limiters on each rail, to protect components at power-up and allow closer fuse sizing
- Provision for either 2 large electrolytics (10,000+ uF for each rail), or multiple smaller capacitors (up to 5 per rail) in parallel, for reduced ESR, and low profile form factor.
- accomodates either 2-secondary transformers (with individual rectifier bridges for each) or center-tapped secondary, with single or parallel-connected bridge.
- Power resistors for slow and safe discharging of filter capacitors.
- PC lands provided for SMT ceramic bypass capacitors, to improve transient response.

- Black component placement legend remains unconspicuous once the PCB assembled.

Transformers with 2 secondaries: Feed each secondary to its own rectifier, and combine rails post-rectification, OR tie the 2 center legs of the secondaries together to form a center tap.
Transformers with single center-tapped secondary: use a single bridge, or both bridges in parallel.
Takes one of the following Schottky rectifiers:
MBR16100, MBR20100, MBR20200, MBR20H100, MBR20H150, MBR30H150
Fast recovery rectifiers can also be used (MUR620CT and other -CT suffix parts), but they do not offer the low voltage drop benefit of the Schottky.
