This item appears to be in pretty good shape considering the age. There is surface rust and some welds here and there, nothing major. The wood table is in good condition, still has some red paint on the ends. The shaft and blade turn freely with no noises or roughness. I did NOT spray anything on this to get it moving, it appears the previous owners have kept it greased well with the zerk fittings. The table is kept away from the direction of the blade with a "spring" steel, it is stopped in the outer position by a chain. The blade has all it's teeth and they appear straight (and sharp). Even the belt is included!
With some TLC I would imagine this could be a beautiful addition to someone IH collection.
