I am selling a Commander Drill Chip Breaker. Made in USA. I never used it and don't know anything about it. I found the following information on the internet.
"I ran a drill press that had a Commander attachment. They are the ticket for deep hole drilling as you don't have to peck drill.
The unit works by stopping the drill bit advance for a fraction of a second. Then it restarts and the chip is broken. I believe it uses a ball-and-cam arrangement to generate the cycle. Any material that produces long, unbroken curls is a good application."
