This probe system works with the Agilent (HP) 8981B vector modulation analyzer and is also a stand alone probe system for any oscilloscope with the probe power option on it (Tektronix or HP).
HP 11748A Active Probe Set provides three 1 M Ohms 250 MHz BNC inputs for an HP Vector analyzer. HP Vector analyzers have special outlets from which the Active Probe Set is powered. Within the Active Probe set case are three, 1M ohms probe pods. Two probe pods provide I and Q signal inputs. A third probe pod provides an external trigger source. Each of the probe pods come with an HP 10435A 10:1 probe tip assembly and a bag of probe accessories.
