Lot of three(3) 5 micron polyester filters polypro ring
For sale is a lot of three (3) polyester felt filter bags. These are rated at 5 microns (nominal). They have a polypropylene ring sewn into the top of the bag & have a glazed outer surface to reduce fiber contamination in the filtered solution. Bags are industry standard size 1 (7" diameter & 16" long) and can be used in most size 1 filter housings or free hanging from a pipe attached with a fastener or clamp directly to the pipe. These bags will NOT work with a filter head adapter! Please note that these bags do have handle molded across the mouth of the bag for lifting or to facilitate hanging from a pipe. Polyester is fairly good with a maximum heat of 180-200 degrees F but is generally not as chemical resistant as polypropylene. These are excellent bags for filtering water or waste vegetable oil (WVO) to make biodiesel.
