These nuts are typically used to mount radios in vehicles, using the super fine threaded volume and tuning knob bulkheads which protrude through the dashboard in older models. I don't know the exact thread pitch, but I verified that it isn't 1/2-13 UNC or 1/2-20 UNF. It is finer thread than either of those. Priced cheap for quantity purchase!
