Your images are instantly placed on your computer, requiring fewer steps and less time than camera connections.
Here are some photos of the microscope in action. Notice the LED lights...
When you purchase the bundle you get the microscope, a small black cradle to store the microscope upright, an articulating flex arm stand, and a video/image capture software program CD all in one bundle. If you shop around and try to find a similar video/image capture program it would cost $40 to $50, and wouldn't have all of our program s unique features. Some Technical/Optical Information:
Optical Field of View (the visible area that is viewed with the microscope):
The field of view changes when you change the distance between the nozzle and an object. Notice that when the nozzle is touching the object, you can focus two different ranges.
Distance from object to nozzle = Resulting Field of View:
Nozzle touching object at 211X Magnification = ~0.066 L X 0.049 W (1.67mm X 1.25mm)
Nozzle touching object at 60X Magnification = ~0.23 L X 0.17 W (5.8mm X 4.3mm)
Nozzle 2cm (0.79 ) away from object at 30X Magnification = ~0.4 L X 0.27 W (10mm X 7mm)
Nozzle 5.0cm (2.0 ) away from object at 20X Magnification = 0.7 L X 0.4 W (18mm X 10 mm)
Nozzle 10cm (3.9 ) away from object at 17X Magnification = 0.9 L X 0.6 W (23mm X 15mm)
Nozzle 15cm (5.9 ) away from object at 15X Magnification = 1.5 L X 0.9 W (38mm X 23mm)
Nozzle 20cm (7.9 ) away from object at 10X Magnification = 1.9 L X 1.5 W (48mm X 38mm)
