The normally closed contact in this unit opens at 150-degrees C and automatically resets at 75-degrees C.
Both terminals on this unit are 0.250-inch quick disconnects. The female QD terminal is a right-angle stacking type with a lead length providing 2-inches to the center of the terminal. The male QD terminal projects 1/2-inch above the base.
The size of a Klixon phenolic motor protector is determined by the diameter of the bimetallic thermal disc, and the outside diameter of the phenolic base is larger. This unit is a 3/4-inch size with a base outside diameter of 0.970-inch. The base flange is 1.031-inch diameter. The height of the base is 0.625-inch.

Although the terminals may differ, this could serve as a suitable replacement for any size M unit with base S or base R using number 30 heater. However, the Klixon factory should be consulted before making any substitution.
