These miniature Turck sensors are compact, self contained proximity sensors in an stainless steel cylindrical 8x1mm threaded housing. These sensors contain NPN transistor outputs which switch in a complimentary manner. The outputs are short circuit protected. This sensor was developed to provide an economical sensor in an easy to mount 8mm cylindrical housing. These units can handle almost all of your sensing applications even in harsh environments. They have a NEMA 4 rating and an operating temperature range from -17 to 158 F, so they can withstand the harshest environments.
