G540 4 axis gecko drive cnc stepper system
This sale is for a 4 axis G540 stepper system with three 270 ozin nema 23 all wired up including all shown cables in a plug and play system. The 4 axis system consists of a control box with a 48V power supply115/230 VAC switch settable, cooling fan, a lighted power switch, and engage/disengage switch used for allowing the motors to spin freely under manual control, and a G540 optically isolated 4 axis driver module. The G540 has short circuit protection, is optically isolated, has mid band stabilization, fine tuning for smoothest stepper motor operation,has 4 inputs that can be mixed and matched for switches or inputs such as a 3d probe, 2 relay output terminal and VFD terminals if you need it. The unit has a built in charge pump. I have exhaustily tested the G540 made by Geckodrives and found them to have amazing performance for their small size. The drivers are 10 microstep and deliver up to 3.5A per phase. The control unit comes with a working copy (500 lines)of Mach3 software.There is a configuration file that makes setup very easy. The 3 motors are 270 oz in dual shaft motors. We can change motors to other sizes and torque values but that needs to be negotiated.
I have been in the cnc business for 17 years and am known for excellent products and after sales support. . I have sold about 125 of these type systems using the G540. All with excellent results. The G540 are the latest version that have the improved G250 drivers. Current date codes are March 2010
This system would be an excellent choice for full size mill drills, mini mill drills like the X2 and X 3, SX3, lathes small desktopand bench lathes and mills, small cnc routers and most mill drills.
