R410A System Port(5/16") Tool Adapter:
From Manifold And Other Service Tools(1/4" SAE FFL) to R410a System Ports(5/16" SAE MFL)
1/4" Male flare x 5/16" Swivel Female flare, also known as 1/2"-20 UNF Female.
THIS ADAPTER IS USED ON SOME **R410A A/C SYSTEMS THAT HAVE THE LARGER UNIQUE FITTING ON THE SERVICE VALVE, The description of that fitting is 5/16" SAE also known as 1/2" ACME Male-20UN.
This adapter will screw onto the 5/16" also known as 1/2" ACME MALE-20 UN fitting and allow you to connect a standard 1/4 service hose or other tools like oil injector or to it.
The female side of the brass adapter has a Schrader valve depressor so it will push in or depress the existing Schrader valve and the male end goes to the tool fitting.
