Nondestructive Testing Ultrasonic Distance Amplitude Reference Block
Block used to generate distance amplitude curves to correct for attenuation of sound through the material. Block is made of steel, with dimensions 12" x 3" x 1-1/4". The block does have slight areas of oxidation.
The block has side drilled holes with depths of 1/4" to 1-1/2" in one-quarter inch increments. By turning the block over, the distance to the side drilled holes ranges from 1-1/2" to 2-3/4" in one-quarter inch increments.
