This is a new cypress Langstroth 10-frame medium super, 19 7/8" x 16 1/4" x 6 5/8". Cypress is unsurpassed for rot and pest resistance.
It was hand selected after precision milling.
It has rabbet joints glued with premium exterior wood glue.
Clamped square and screwed with zinc plated screws.
Primed with a premium exterior primer, and then painted with mildew resistant exterior latex paint.
Under cut handles on all four sides for a sure grip.
Comes with 10 6 1/4" grooved top wood frames, glued with exterior wood glue AND nailed top and bottom. It takes longer to glue and nail each frame, but doubles the strength.
Plasticell foundation is pre-coated with bees wax to help the bees draw it quickly.
