The CD100 is a Frequency Counter / Sub-audible Tone Decoder. The CD100 combines a frequency counter and tone decoder in one handheld package. Great for use by the two-way radio technician for quickly checking portables for frequency and tone, the CD100 is so easy to operate that even non-technical staff will find it easy to use.
The CD100 is a clear cut choice for quick and accurate measurement for frequency and tone on two-way radios. Quickly check a fleet of radios and store all data on the CD100's internal memory. Data can be reviewed in the CD100 by manually scrolling through the 100 internal memories. The CD100 will save frequency and any tone data in each memory.
What if the radio is transmitting a little off frequency? No problem with the unique Channel measurement mode of the CD100. It shows you the exact channel the radio should be programmed to.
The Optoelectronics CD100 is ideal for searching out and recording unknown frequencies. If you're serious about frequency finding look no further than the CD100. Armed with 100 memories, the CD100 is designed for portable operation in a rugged metal case. Take it anywhere, NASCAR Races, sporting events, the zoo, airports, and more. The CD100 captures and displays the strongest frequency in the nearfield that is 15dB above the background RF levels, and the second decoding line identifies the associated tones or DTMF (touch tones) you are monitoring. The Reaction Tune feature of the CD100, patented by Optoelectronics, allows the CD100 to instantly tune a compatible receiver to the frequency it captures (See list of compatible Reaction Tune products below).
