I HAVE PERSONALLY TESTED THIS TAPER AND I HAVE FOUND IT TO BE IN EXCELLENT WORKING CONDITION. I DID NOT HAVE ANY TAPE OR THE Easyclean PUMP DURING MY TESTING SO IT WAS A DRY TESTING. ALL OF THE CONTROLS WORK PERFECTLY. I TESTED THE WHEEL CONTROLLED BY THE LOWER LEVER; THE CENTER PULLS DOWN TO ACTUATE THE CUTTER. THE SPRING RELEASE MECHANISM FOR THE CUTTER WORKS; FINALLY THE LEVER ON THE SIDE WHICH CONTROLS THE THICKNESS OF THE COMPOUND WORKS ALSO.
