Lens not included. The Sony SSC-DC83 is a very sensitive security and surveillance CCTV camera with a 1/2-inch CCD chip. With recent advances in digital processing the camera squeezes out very wide dynamic range for low-light image capture. The camera comes with a security housing which will protect the camera and lens from basic environmental intrusions like humidity and dust. An activity detect function senses changes in light and can trigger a recorder or alarm.
Good Resolution Even In Low Light
The SSC-DC83 has a 1/2-inch CCD chip outputs 480 horizontal lines or resolution. Its 50 dB signal to noise ratio permits low light level image capture with excellent contrast and color. Its minimum illumination rating is an amazing 0.4 Lux with f/1.2, 50 IRE and gain up.
The SSC-DC83 has circuitry for exposure compensation, variable gamma, back light compensation, auto white balance and auto iris lens control. A Private Mask function will hide areas of the picture that should not be displayed on the screen.
