This item was acquired at a salvage freight sale recently. Near as we can tell, they are some kind of new state-of-the-art refrigerant coupling system designed and patented by Faster. Apparently, after you install male nipples in all your refrigeration lines you can service the Freon with these, with pressure still in the system, and with no tools required. Pretty high burst pressure too, at 14,500 PSI when connected.
Stamped on the release sleeve: PAT. PENDING PULL BACK 07NO
Stamped on the coupler body: FASTER 0710 RFLS04F 07HK
We do not have any of the matching male nipples but they are available from Faster Inc's suppliers.
Wrench-less Refrigerant Coupling
Connections - Both Male and Female Under Residual Pressure
The new FASTER RFLS Wrench-Less refrigerant coupling uses a unique and patent pending low friction connecting mechanism, combined with a double lead thread to allow the operator to connect refrigerant and fluid lines, without the use of tools and while under pressure. It only takes two turns of the double lead sleeve to complete the connection of the refrigerant coupling. When the low profile refrigerant coupling is properly threaded together, a color coded Locking Sleeve automatically snaps in place. The refrigerant coupling can not be inadvertently disconnected. The RFLS can not be operated in a partially connected position if the safety sleeve is locked in place. The unique low friction sleeve imparts virtually no twist to any hose used with the female, so damage to connecting hoses is eliminated. UL Listing in process.

- With Neoprene seals from -40C (-40F) to +120C (+248F).
- With HNBR seals from -25C (-13F) to +140C (+284F).
- Temperatures refer to theorical working conditions in laboratory.
