Drawers are 2" high (inside dimension) to allow for storage of documents, blueprints, or artwork. Cases and drawers are reinforced for extra strength and durability, and make an attractive addition to any office or storage area. They are perfrect for architectural drawings, artwork, maps, engineering plans, and large craft supplies.
The cabinet will stack on top of another Hobart Cabinet of the same dimensions, creating optimal storage in a minimum of space.
The outer 3-1/2" height of each drawer creates ample storage space inside-2" of safe storage per drawer for your most important documents. Stops prevent the drawers from being pulled loose by accident, yet each drawer can be removed, if you wish, by easily lifting upward. Recessed drawer handles give the cabinet an attractive, modernized look, while centralized label holders offer instant identification of drawer contents. "Hold-down bars" keep all documents flat and in place. 85% drawer extension-smooth rolling sturdiest of nylon rollers provides easy accessibility.
The finish on this cabinet is our signature color "Hobart Gray." This color is more of a silver metallic with bronzish undertones. Durable powder-painted finish lasts for years of use. Plus, these durable finishes are easy to maintain-just wipe clean with a damp cloth!! (The finish also resists fingerprints.)
It's important to note that even though our cabinets have 8 drawers, they hold approximately as much vertical storage capacity as other 10-drawer cabinets on the market, due to the fact that our drawers are taller.
