Variable temperature 50 watt soldering station pencil
A slim pencil offers minimum tip-to-grip ratio for precise control. Soldering at the correct temperature is very important to ensure perfect solder connection. If the temperature is too low the solder will not flow correctly and will cause cold *solder joints. If the temperature is too high the rosin flux will be burned and not allow the solder to flow evenly. High temperature can also cause damage to a PCB Board and other sensitive components. When tip working temperature is set within the correct parameters suited to the particular solder being used a good joint is assured.
Solder in the electronics industry is 60% tin, 40% lead (60/40) with a rosin core. Comes with safety guard iron holder and sponge, common replaceable tip (1 fine pencil tip is included) - on-off switch with power-on indicator light. This adjustable heat economical soldering station is ideal for professional or hobbyist use and is an excellent choice for a wide variety of electronic and electrical repairs. Great for fine PC board work. Sorry, no other tips are available except for exact replacements.
