The Panasonic "Pro-Line" series is designed for the commercial/professional market, for people needing the highest degree of reliability and performance. This is a time-lapse recorder most often used in surveillance and security. Using S-VHS this provides 400 lines of vertical resolution, almost double standard VHS. This ensures the highest quality picture. The AG-6740P has a very high precision tape transport which ensures proper, equal tape tension, accurate speed and tracking using a 16-bit digital servo. Each tape takeup reel has its own brushless direct drive motor. Record up to 960 hrs on a single T-120 tape! Multiple units can be linked for continuous recording during tape swaps etc.
