The furniture makers best friend! Jorgensen's most popular heavy duty steel bar clamps. The "I" bar design is the strongest way to clamp table tops togeather, bar none! Ideal for school shops, commerical woodworking, metalworking and welding applications. Multiple disc clutch holds securely at any point along bar. I bought these new 15 years ago and they will last for another 50+ years. The clamp has normal use and age but are straight and don't slip. They don't sell clamps like these in just any store! They are awesome! Why am I selling them? I am getting out of woodworking after 25 years due to increased allergies.

The 7248 48-Inch Heavy-Duty Steel I-Bar Clamp is made with extra carbon and manganese to hold up to industrial use. It features a multiple-disc clutch with automatic gripping for a secure hold that is easily released. The clamp opens up to 4 feet, with a 2 by 1 3/4-inch clamping face and 5/8-inch cold-drawn steel screw for added gripping power. The crank-type handle is simple to operate. Subjected to the rigorous daily demands of school shops, commercial woodworking operations, metalworking factories, welding applications and serious woodworking applications. The fixed head is threaded to accommodate the screw. The screws and handles are used for final clamping adjustments only.
