Linear Access XR-1 and XT-1: 1-Channel Mid-range Digital Transmitter and Receiver Pair.
The XT-1 transmits a digital supervised signal to the XR-1 receiver. When you connect the XT-1 transmitter leads together, the receiver closes its switch output leads as well. When you disconnect the transmitter leads, the receiver's switch turns off. Basically this system operates as a remote wireless switch. You can attach whatever trigger you want at the transmitter; anything that is capable of closing a switch will work. And you can turn on whatever electric or electronic device you want from the receiver switch output. Applications include remote triggering, security, surveillance, remote monitoring, remote alarms, and process control. Has a 10 mile LOS range when used with three-foot whip antennas.
