Infiniti CD-R are compact discs designed to be recordable on any compatible CD writing device. Many CD reading devices in HiFi cannot record onto CD-R you need a CD Recording device, which can both read and record with CD-R. Almost all DVD writers can also write to CD-R.
The CD-R recording device burns pits into the pre-formed guide track on a CD.
CD-R are used to record so many things now, they can really be used by anyone you can record data, music, video, games and backup on to them. They really are a great robust medium that is easy to handle, low cost, and resilient in transit.
All Infiniti CD-R products will work on any writer less than 3 years old.
There are a few different types of CD-R available. They come in various capacities, but are normally 80 minutes (730mb). In addition, Infiniti manufacture discs with an inkjet printable coating in them
Infiniti Printable CD-R are coated in a special instant-dry paper like matte finish. The printing capabilities are far superior to traditional coated media, and the resulting print quality is simply incredible. Infiniti Printable CD-R can also be additionally protected using PressIt Sprayfix, a great product to enhance the appearance of printed discs, make them more UV resistant, and protect them from scratches.
