1962 allis chalmers HD7G crawler loader
This crawler has been on my farm for around 10 years. It was only used for odd jobs around the farm and some neighbor jobs. I have done a lot of repairs over the years which I will list below. The last time I used it I broke off a tooth on the lower final drive gear and I just don't have the time anymore to work on it. Maybe one of you can put the time in to fix it and have a great crawler again. Don't be afraid of the machine it is a tight machine that runs great. All oil pressures are good. The tracks are in good shape I would rate at 60-70%
These are things that I have done over the years:
Motor was rebuit year before I bought it (runs great,valve cover leaks)
new packing in hydraulic cylinders (Book shows 5" cylinder but someone replaced them with 5 1/2 cylinders)you would not believe the lifting power
Rebuilt charge pump and couplers
Rebuilt #1 power shift clutch pack in trans 2 years ago, other 3 still looked new
Rebuilt Fuel injector pump 2 years ago
New hydraulic pump for loader 2 years ago (new style pump converted to fit)
As you can see I have keep this machine up and have over $10,000 invested in it but I will be willing to take a loss just to have someone fix it and run it again, It would be a shame to let it sit.
