In this listing we are offering a new old stock Heatnapper 2 by Hi-Temp Mfg Inc. Model FVD1-8. 8" round flue size. Thermally actuates damper to open on fire up. When heat is turned off damper closes to retain heat in furnace or boiler(not for use on oil burners). Special heat-sensitive safety shuts off appliance if damper fails to open or if venting system is not venting properly due to low draft or heat retention in flue due to obstructions. Can be mounted vertically or horizontally. For use on 24v, 120v or power pile systems. Indicator know indicates damper position, also has a lock-open function if for any reason damper is not working.
