This unit measures 17.5" by 10.5". The sensor head is over a removable disk 3" in diameter with the lamp underneath. There's a digital LED display and keypad on the overhead sensor support, and the keypad has a two-sided metal faceplate held on by magnets; one side of the faceplate labels the functions of keys in number entry mode and the other labels the functions in operation mode. Some of the keys have the same function in both modes; they're labelled "RGB", "R", "G", "B", "DMIN", "LD", "HD", "DMAX", "A/M", "YEL", "REFL" and "OP/ENT". In operation mode there are keys labelled "DENS", "HD-LD", "CB", "DFX", "CAL", "STD" and "REF", and in number entry mode these keys are labelled "STD", "COR", "-", "REF", "TST", "A" and "N". On the back of the unit is a power switch, a lamp switch, and a female 25-pin D connector. Connected to the unit by a ribbon cable is a Cosar 76 with reflection head. A copy of the instruction manual and a model 750 calibration standard are included.
The unit was plugged in and turned on. Neither the lamp nor the LED display would light up, the unit does not appear to be functional. It is not known what is wrong with it.
