This is one item of NOS mullard C280 capacitor, 0.1uF (100nF) 20%, 400V. I've tested these with a basic multimeter capacitance meter to make sure that they are not short-circuit, open-circuit, or mis-labelled. These are unused items, sometimes used in retro electronics where a decorative appearance is important, though bear in mind that they are about 35 years old. The colour code is brown-black-yellow for 100nF, then black for 20% tolerance and yellow for 400V rating.
