This is a three-piece walleted set of Moore and Wright small bore gauges.
The most appropriate sized bore gauge is inserted into a bore which requires measuring. Carefully rotate the knurled top of the tool which causes a pair of opposing steel balls to protrude from the stem. Once the balls are in contact with the inner face of the bore the instrument is removed and the measurement across the balls taken with a micrometer (not part of the set).
These are very useful to anybody requiring precision measurement of small bores.

The set measures from 3.2mm to 5.1mm (0.125" to 0.200"). If you require the specific range of each instrument I can provide it. Each gauge measures a small portion of the range and is then superceded by the next larger gauge.
