It can be used to accurately space bolt holes, machine curved slots, cut square, hexagonal, octogonal shapes, etc.
Table is 4 1/2" diameter, and has T-slots for work clamping. Edge of table is calibrated 360 degrees. Table is turned by worm gear with graduated collar and ball crank. Thumb screw locks collar. Each graduation equals 3 minutes of table rotation. One rotation of crank = 5 degrees. Table and base are precision ground and parallel. Worm can be disengaged for rapid positioning of workpiece.
The unit as shown is mounted to an aluminum block for convenient clamping in a milling machine vice. The light weight of 14 lb. and small size make this unit very handy for small projects.
