Leviton Wired-In RAILROAD DC Surge Protector Suppressor
Leviton 51020-D24 wired-in railroad surge protective device (SPD) with raised wiring terminal posts. Allows you to build surge suppression into your next project. Rated 24VDC nominal (32 VDC max), 25A. This appears to have been originally designed for railroad applications; I assume it can be adapted for other uses. Features include:
* LED indicators: GREEN indicates surge protection properly operating; RED indicates surge protection failure
* Audible tone provides suppression failure warning for use when the SPD unit is contained within a piece of equipment and the LED's are not readily visible
* Ratings: 54VDC peak (+ to -); 54VDC peak (+ to GND); 54VDC peak (- to GND)
