The Allen-Bradley 1794-IB32 FLEX I/O Input Module plugs into terminal base, connecting to the I/O bus and field devices. Because there is no direct wiring to the module, it can be removed and inserted under power, allowing to change modules without disturbing field wiring, other I/O modules, or system power, thereby eliminating costly downtime and inefficiencies of restarting a system.
