Zone First ZDB-08X28 Zone Dampers are sturdy aluminum framed parallel blade dampers with 3" blades for long life and silent operation. Each blade pivots on a self lubricating bushing for smooth quiet operation and long life. The ZD is a power close, and spring open damper. It has 24-volt, spring return, power closed damper motor used to control circulating air in heating, cooling, and ventilating systems. It is used when a normally-open damper is required. The ZD is typically used with the TotalZone Systems and other electronic mini-damper systems.
